I am formally trained in evidenced-based therapeutic practices such as structural family therapy (Multidimensional Family Therapy), individual trauma modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting, TRM (Trauma Resiliency Module), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Seeking Safety, MAP (Managing and Adapting Practice), CORS (Crisis Oriented Recovery Services), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) amongst others.
I have spent years working in community mental health, as a school-based therapist and as a clinical supervisor managing multiple clinical teams and departments. Currently, in private practice, I specialize in working with men, specifically men who are struggling with relationships, emotional intimacy, and connection. I was fortunate enough to be trained by Dr. Hershel K. Swinger in his Men in Relationships Group (MIRG) for the Project Fatherhood program. I use a cultural trauma lens to thoroughly process unresolved concerns that continue to get in the way of living your life and connecting with others. If I seem like a good fit for you, send me a message or give me a call and let’s see how we can work together.
