I view therapy as humanistic and relational: client-led, curious, and always non-
judgmental. Drawing from several modalities, my approach is tailored to what each
client needs rather than relying on a single fixed framework.
I am currently in Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an experiential
approach that understands the mind as made up of distinct “parts,” each with its own
perspective and protective role. I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT),
Gestalt, and mindfulness. My goal is always to create a deep, felt emotional experience
in the room.
I grew up on the East Coast and stubbornly hang onto that identity despite many years
in Los Angeles. Before becoming a therapist I spent a long time in the entertainment
industry — and I still love films, novels, and stories. I particularly enjoy working with
clients who are creatives or in the industry themselves. Between my partner and myself
we are raising five kids, which informs the way I understand relationships and the
complex work of love and family.
